The service-related expenses per volunteer traveling to Africa with Reach the Children (RTC), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, include the following [as arranged for the team by RTC]: airfare between approved US departure cities and African destination, team transportation in Africa, team lodging in Africa, all meals with team in Africa, daily bottled water in Africa, team activities, and contributions to team projects. The projected total can be approximately $4,200 per person (based on season of travel and related expenses). Volunteers are sponsored in the form of donations to RTC, which are tax receipt-able.

(FYI: To help with financial planning - personal expenses for passport, visa[s], immunizations, souvenirs, and such can total *~$300+. *These particular funds are deemed personal expenses so are not managed nor tax-receipted by RTC. The exact figure will vary by person.)

**Note:  For those expeditions that are full, you may fill out an application and you will be put on a waiting list for any spot that may become available.
